Sgt. Rock Teased For DC's Legends Of Tomorrow

Looks like at some point this season DC's Legends of Tomorrow is headed to World War II and will meet-up with Sgt. Franklin "Frank" John Rock.

"This G.I. is the cornerstone of his unit. The men who follow him into battle know one thing for certain: nothin's easy in Easy Company," DC Comics teased. "Screenshot this image and use filters to reveal the answer, and share your findings with #LoTEasterEggs!" Maybe I have super-vision, because I don't require any filters to see the dark-blue type -- in the teaser image -- spelling-out "SGT. ROCKS HELMET."

Sgt. Rock was created by Robert Kanigher and Joe Kubert, and first appeared in Our Army at War #83 (June 1959). He's an eagle-eyed shot, precision grenade hurler, excellent hand-to-hand fighter, extraordinary strength and exceptional healing abilities.

"Blood Ties" episode of DC's Legends of Tomorrow will air Thursday, February 4 at 8PM on The CW.
