Let's go under the sea of The SpongeBob Musical!

First look production photos (via Entertainment Weekly) of The SpongeBob Musical have been released, providing us with our first look at the talented cast dressed as the fabled characters SpongeBob (Ethan Slater), Patrick (Danny Skinner), Sandy (Lilli Cooper), Squidward (Gavin Lee), Mr. Krabs (Carlos Lopez), and Plankton (Nick Blaemire). We also get our first look at the elaborate Bikini Bottom set.

The SpongeBob Musical will debut on June 7 at Chicago's Oriental Theatre, playing through July 10, 2016 before an expected move to Broadway next season.
