Spurs' Mascot Dressed As Batman Catches Live Bat At NBA Game

Six years ago, San Antonio Spurs' star Manu Ginobili famously swatted down a live-bat with his bare hands in the middle of an NBA game, but this time he let the team mascot, The Coyote, take all of the glory!

A basketball-loving bat was so eager to see the hometown Spurs play the Minnesota Timberwolves on Monday night that he flew inside of AT&T Center. It caused a commotion when it made its presence known during pre-game warmups.

That's when The Coyote leaped into action! He raced to the locker room, put on his Batman costume, grabbed a large net and in less than two-minutes he snared the critter. The bat was then put in a towel by a security guard and escorted off the premises when it couldn't produce a ticket stub. Freeloader!
