Millie Bobby Brown, the 13-year-old breakout star of Netflix's Stranger Things, announced on Saturday — hours before she was schedule to appear — that should would not be able to travel from the Upside Down to Jacksonville, Florida to take part in Collective Con.

The Eleven actress had committed to appear on Saturday and Sunday, but the long hours she is still putting into the second season of Stranger Things took its toll on her, so she cancelled the appearance and got some much needed rest.

"Hey guys, I've never had to do one of these videos before," Brown said (via eonline) in a video she posted to her social media sites. "But I've had to cancel at Collective Con last minute, which is something I've never done and I'm planning on never doing again."

She added, "I just think I've worked too hard and I have to rest as I've had a really long shoot and I'm still filming Stranger Things. I'm sorry to everyone who's going and I promise you guys I'm going to get back to you. I love you guys all, thank you so much for your continued support and thank you."

By the way, Brown wasn't only member of the Stranger Things cast to be a no-show at Collective Con. The Florida Times-Union reports: Noah Schnapp, the young actor who portrays Will Byers the supernatural series, canceled his appearance days before the event "due to a work scheduling conflict."

The first season of Stranger Things starred Winona Ryder, David Harbour, Finn Wolfhard, Millie Brown, Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin, Noah Schnapp, Natalia Dyer, Cara Buono, Charlie Heaton, and Matthew Modine. The second season will feature Sadie Sink as Max, a tough and confident girl whose appearance, behavior and pursuits seem more typical of boys than of girls in this era, and Power Rangers star Dacre Montgomery as Billy, Max's hyper-confident, and edgy older step-brother.

Matt Duffer and Ross Duffer (Wayward Pines, Hidden) serve as writer, directors and co-showrunners of the series, and are executive producers along with Shawn Levy and Dan Cohen via their 21 Laps entertainment banner (The Spectacular Now, Night At The Museum, Real Steel, Date Night). Shawn Levy also serves as director.
