The Flash Season 2 Returns With Solid Ratings

The ratings are in, and The Flash returned to the CW with a strong showing.

The Flash averaged a 1.4 rating/5 share in adults 18-49 and 3.4 million viewers in its 8 p.m. time slot. Those ratings are expected to be adjusted up to a 1.5, matching the series highest ratings during the last 15 episodes of Season 1.

That still pales in comparison to the series premiere one year ago, which brought in a 1.9 in 18-49 demographic and 4.83 million viewers overall, making it the CW's most watched series ever, but that's a tough act to repeat for any network series.

The Flash airs Tuesdays at 8 p.m. ET on The CW.
