Toby Stephens is certainly no stranger to classic characters in iconic films. From the titular protagonist in A&E's The Great Gatsby to a Bond villain in Die Another Day, the actor's film credits are impressive to say the least.
In a recent interview with Radio Times, the son of Dame Maggie Smith confessed that he would love to star in a Marvel superhero film.
"Marvel is one franchise that I think is fun, because they have this great blend of humour and irony alongside the superhero element," Stephens said. "They tend to be very satisfying films to watch. I admire them for that. I don't care whether it's playing in one of those as a superhero or baddie, it would just be such fun to do one."
The actor admits that for the moment, he is especially excited about television. The actor can currently be seen on Black Sails which airs on Starz.
