Valiant Teases Harbinger Wars 2 for 2018

Harbinger Wars was Valiant Comics' first big crossover story after their resurrection, and it looks like a sequel is coming. In an unprecedented reveal, Valiant is announcing Harbinger Wars 2 a full two years early - the event isn't coming until 2018.

The extremely early teaser reveals something that Valiant fans may not have seen coming: A threat that scares even Toyo Harada. The most powerful (and one of the first) of the Psiots, Harada is quoted in the all-black teaser saying simply, "He seeks to devour us; you've unleashed horror." Who is the "he" in that quote? Well, if you wait a couple of hours and come back to Comicbook.com, you just might find out.

The original Harbinger Wars crossed over the Harbinger and Bloodshot comics alongside an event mini-series, but we have zero details just yet as to how this one will launch. In the story, Bloodshot releases psiots from a specialized superhuman prison, hoping to give them a chance at the normal life of which the nanite-infused super soldier was robbed.

With Harbinger: Renegades launching in November, it's a safe bet that we'll be seeing Peter Stanchek, Faith, and company returning, but what, if any role Bloodshot and Toyo Harada have to play in the upcoming Harbinger Wars 2 has not yet been revealed.
