Sunny And Bajie Escape In This Exclusive New Into The Badlands Clip

03/22/2017 09:59 am EDT

This past Sunday, the second season of Into The Badlands debuted to pretty strong numbers. The new episode was jam-packed with action, and provided fans with the biggest shocker of the entire series so far.

Now that Quinn is alive, it's even more important for Sunny to escape the mine and get back to his family. Veil and the baby need him, and he knows it. The only problem here is the fact that he's kept under lock and key in the mining community, and he's now chained to his hilarious and hefty new friend - Bajie.

In next week's episode, Sunny and Bajie will look to fight their way out of the mines. In this exclusive new clip, the new friends will take on the warrior champion of their captors. This behemoth of a man is known as The Mouse, and he isn't there to fool around.

This is easily the biggest opponent Sunny has ever faced, and he has another obstacle adding to his problems. Bajie - who's not exactly the most athletic guy in the world - is chained to his wrist.

You can watch the full clip above. Don't forget to tune in to an all-new episode of Into The Badlands this Sunday, on AMC, at 10pm ET.

Season Two of Into the Badlands finds Sunny and M.K. separated and scattered to the wind, each imprisoned in unlikely places. While M.K. struggles to control his powers, Sunny is determined to fight his way back into the Badlands to find his family or die trying. On their journey, Clipper and Colt are assisted by new allies whose motivations may be anything but pure. Meanwhile, the Widow continues to consolidate power against the other Barons, while a dark and mysterious threat prepares to exact revenge on them all. Alliances are struck, friendships betrayed and, by season's end, Sunny and M.K.'s lives will be forever altered.

From AMC Studios, Into the Badlands was created by showrunners/executive producers/writers Alfred Gough and Miles Millar and executive produced by Oscar®-nominated producers Stacey Sher and Michael Shamberg, director David Dobkin, fight director Stephen Fung and Daniel Wu.
