Since it's initial release, Pokemon GO has undergone a variety of updates and tweaks, including one such change that increased the difficulty of actually catching the Pokemon.

Pokemon GO developer Niantic adjusted the mechanics to make actually catching the adorable creatures with one Pokeball throw not so likely, and now most Pokemon outside of the basic Pidgey or Rattata will take a few tries before they stay inside. That has prompted the release of a few Pokemon GO inspired apps that are supposed to help your throwing technique, but in one such case, all it does is give you the creeps (via TheNextWeb).

That app is called Pokemon Coach, an app that purports to help your throwing technique in Pokemon GO. Since its unofficial, the app had to use characters that looked similar to the creatures you know and love, but were different enough as to not get sued, and well...that's where things went awry.

It would be one thing if the app just used different creatures with similar color schemes, but developer Rejected Games did not do that. Instead, they created some Pokemon that look like Silent Hill versions of themselves. Take Pikachu for instance, one of the most beloved Pokemon ever created. In Pokemon Coach, it appears as if Bubsy had his fill of reading Pokemon stories, lost his mind, and decided to wear Pikachu's skin. That's disturbing, but that's the impression these creepy Pokemon give off.

The same goes for Snorlax, and Squirtle, and Charmander, and the list goes on. The app has been updated on the official play store with redone characters that have a bit more of a Skylanders feel, but if you want to stare creepiness in the face, you can download the original version of the app via an APK. Fair warning, though, you have to be extremely careful with APK's, and download at your own risk.

You can view a few screenshots of the game in the gallery.
