Attack On Titan Complete First Season Coming To Blu-Ray

If you have been waiting for Attack on Titan to get a full home release, then you have been sitting idly for some time. Thanks to Funimation, the hit anime has had DVD and Blu-ray releases in the past, but there has not been a complete first season collection. Until now, that is. By the end of January, fans will be able to get their hands on the full first season of Attack on Titan, and there's a pretty great sale going on now.

Over on Amazon, the listing has appeared and even features the release's cover art. Fans can see Survey Corps members like Eren, Armin, and Mikasa as the three friends rush forward in their military uniforms. Attack on Titan: Complete Season One is set to ship on January 24, and it should arrive in time for fans to reacquainted themselves with the anime's upcoming second season.

Normally $60, you can nab the coveted Blu-ray release for $40 at the moment. The release comes courtesy of Funimation, and it features the studio's English dub so fans don't need to grab any reading glasses should they wish to watch Eren beat on some monstrous Titans. However, the original audio is also included in the four-disc set if any sub fans want to take a gander at the Blu-ray collection.

If you are not familiar with Attack On Titan, then you should know the popular anime is renowned for its intense action and gritty storylines. The anime follows a boy named Eren Yeager in an alternate world overrun by massive creatures known as Titans. These mindless beasts have all but wiped out humanity, and mankind is left to cower in fear behind massive walls. When their sanctum is infiltrated by a slew of Titans, Eren and his friends Armin and Mikasa join the military to help eradicate the blood-thirty monsters. But, as they grow older, they learn that the beasts are not what they appear as long-held government conspiracies make themselves known.
