The preview for Boruto's next episode has been released, and the footage shows a rather familiar scene. The clip for "The Path That Baruto Can See" shows the boy encountering Sumire after he learns of her true motives. The once-quiet class rep has shown herself to be the ninja behind Konoha's disconcerting attacks, but Boruto isn't willing to let his friend turn dark-side of easily.

So, naturally, Boruto tries to Talk no Jutsu his way through to the girl. Like father like son, yeah?

If you are not familiar with Talk no Jutsu, then you should know the technique is not an official one. There is no real jutsu connected to the name, but it is one which the anime fandom has adopted unofficially.

Over the years, Talk no Jutsu has been adopted in reference to Naruto and his uncanny ability to talk down his enemies. The ninja successfully used the technique on hardened criminals like Zabuza, Nagato, and even Obito Uchiha throughout the years. Naruto was first shown the power of words when Iruka talked him down from giving a secret scroll to Mizuki when the other Jounin turned on the boy. So, really, it's no surprise to see that Boruto inherited the gift as well.
