'Dragon Ball Super' Episode 112 Recap With Spoilers

The new episode begins with a recap of Jiren eliminating Hit from the Tournament of Power.

When the story starts afresh, fans meet up with the Gods and Angels on the sidelines. The group looks scared of Jiren, but Belmod seems pleased. They all look at the fighter as he meditates in the area with fights surrounding him. Goku looks at the fighter and says he can keep going. Beerus asks if Goku can still fight, and Whis says the man is tired but has the fighting spirit to continue.

When Zeno, the deities talk about the Tournament reaching its halfway point. They ask what will happen if there is no clear winner of the event, and the Grand Priest takes a moment to reiterate that the universe with the most fighters left at the end will win should there be multiple still involved.

The universes are all after Goku now that he is weak. The Saiyan is taken on by three robotic warriors at once, but Piccolo cannot help. He tells Gohan to help his dad, but the boy is too busy fighting with the Namekians of Universe 6. The two fight as a tag-team, and Piccolo remarks that he finds it insane there are Namekians are strong as he is in this Tournament.

With Champa, the god tells the Namekians to run. He wants to win the Tournament by having the most members left. He is willing to lose the battle to win with war.

Over with Kale and Caulifla, the two girls are seen talking about Jiren and his power. Caulifla tells her protege to not be so scared and to have faith in their potential. The girl is certain of her Saiyan heritage, and she believes she can rise to whatever challenge gets in their way. The girls are then approached by Monna of Universe 4 who hopes to take the others out when they are exhausted. Caulifla says she cannot turn down the challenge, but Cabba interferes. The boy stands in his teammate's way and asks the girls to hide so they can preserve their energy.

Monna tells all three of them to fight her, and Cabba declines by saying he is enough. The two have a struggle as Cabba realizes he underestimated the other girl. Cabba really wants to take this fight on for himself to keep Kale and Caulifla in the wings. Caulifla agrees to run after Kale encourages her, and Cabba is glad since he knows the pair are Universe 6's secret weapons. However, Cabba knows he is also a great warrior thanks to his heritage, so he goes Super Saiyan against Monna.

The warrior is not phased and says the warrior managed to hurt her a bit. She then expands her body to roll over Cabba, and the boy is crushed out of his Super Saiyan form. The pair continue to fight with Cabba getting a rough deal; He notices he has come very close to the arena's edge, but he tries to make Monna fall off by distracting her. He gets pushed off the arena, and Cabba is upset though he still bought time for his teammates. However, his hand is grabbed by Vegeta before he can fall away. The boy calls him master.

Part 1

Cabba is happy to see Vegeta but he throws the boy up carelessly. When Monna gets mad at Vegeta about interfering, he blasts the poor girl away with one attack. Beerus is mad about Vegeta saving an enemy, but Champa is happy to see the Saiyan could not let the boy down because of their master-student relationship. When Cabba thanks Vegeta for the save, the elder knees the Universe 6 fighter in the stomach. Vegeta says he did not save Cabba but simply could not stand seeing a Saiyan be so weak. He asks Cabba is he still plans to keep his promise about taking Vegeta to Planet Sadala; That cannot be done if his Universe is erased.

Cabba apologizes. Vegeta then promises the boy he will win the Super Dragon Balls and revive Universe 6 so he can keep his promise. Cabba promises to do the same but it angers Vegeta. The elder says he will win and that the other should not get cocky. Zeno then wonders aloud if the two are friends. Vegeta tells Cabba to fight without any regrets like a true Saiyan but they do not notice Freeza hanging around. The villain seems disgusted by the pair's relationship.

Monna and Cabba get back to fighting. The boy gets wrecked by the larger fighter, but he pulls strength out of himself when the girl mocks the Saiyan race. When she insults Vegeta and calls him a coward, Cabba gets enraged and goes Super Saiyan 2 for the first time. The boy erupts in an aura of energy, but Monna is not phased until she gets attacked by the Saiyan. Cabba fires an energy blast at the girl and winds up knocking her out of the Tournament. He falls out of SSJ2 and thanks Vegeta for the help

Part 2

Vegeta tells the boy he did well. He then goes to confront the Universe 11 warriors as Vegeta wants to know what the strongest fighter is like. Toppo intercepts him and challenges Vegeta, but the Saiyan says he is not interested in fighting a second-strongest warrior. Toppo tells Vegeta that he is the same as him because Goku is more powerful, and the second fiddle comment enrages the man. Vegeta goes SSB and fights Toppo.

With Vegeta, the boy is confronted by Freeza. The villain challenges the boy to a fight, but Cabba seems to not be aware of what he signed up for. Freeza is able to block all of the boy's moves before Freeza counters. The villain toys with Cabba and tells the boy of his hatred of Saiyans. Freeza promises to go fight his Saiyan comrades once he eliminates Cabba to the boy's horror. The younger goes Super Saiyan and throws out a blast, but Freeza is fine and counters with his own energy beams. He used his Golden form to avoid the attack, and Cabba collapses. The fighter is then knocked out of the Tournament and Freeza powers down to avoid wasting his energy. Champa insults Freeza for going after someone who was exhausted. Freeza then comes back and explains he will be the one to win the Super Dragon Balls and control the gods.

With Vegeta, the SSB fighter is seen in parallel with Goku. The two fighters take a moment to strategize, and Goku remarks about Cabba losing. The two men agree that the Saiyan race will have to live on before their get back to their respective powers. Goku is still recovering, but he is saved from his bigger battle by Caulifla. Goku thanks the girl and she says she has her full power back before going SSJ. Caulifla then challenges Goku to a fight before he can go back into SSJ.
