Dragon Ball Super Episode 89 Synopsis Teases Roshi, Tenshinhan Return

It might be taking some time, but Goku is making progress when it comes to recruiting a team for Universe 7. The Omni-Kings are set to kick off the Tournament of Power sooner rather than later, and Universe 7 is one of the many worlds threatened with total annihilation should they lose. To make sure Universe 7 doesn't get erased, Goku has been busy recruiting warriors like Krillin and Android 18 while Gohan gets Piccolo to sign up for the event.

Despite all their successes, the fighters of Universe 7 still need a few more people to join their team, and Goku knows just who to ask. In episode 89, the Saiyan will seek out his former mentor and run into a few surprises along the way.

"When Goku visits Master Roshi's place, Oolong tells him that he's at the dojo Tien opened. At that time, a mysterious beauty who calls herself Eurin, shows up at the dojo!"

Of course, fans already know that Universe 7 will add Tien and Master Roshi to its roster. The duo may be Earthlings, but their power is immense and ranks up there with Krillin. In Dragon Ball Z, fans grew to love Tien's self-sacrificial powers. And, when Master Roshi isn't busy perving on innocent bystanders, the seemingly weak martial artist can buff up into an overt threat.

Dragon Ball Super's "Universal Survival" saga is part of the recent simulcast agreement that sites like Crunchyroll and Funimation have scored. Dragon Ball Super airs on Crunchyroll Saturdays at 7:15 p.m. CST. Toonami will begin airing the English dub on Adult Swim Saturdays at 11:30 p.m.
