Dragon Ball Super's New Episode Flexed Tons Of Broly Easter Eggs

Dragon Ball fans, you can breathe a sigh of relief. The last week saw the fandom divide as the franchise hinted at Broly's possible canon introduction. The Super Saiyan didn't get swallowed into Dragon Ball Super in the end, but the anime's latest episode did house a ton of Broly easter eggs. Shortly after fans watched Kale power up into her so-called 'Female Broly' form, fans were flooded with several kinds of Dragon Ball Z nostalgia.

Dragon Ball Super's latest episode saw Kale debut her 'Female Broly' Super Saiyan form at long last. After the quiet girl took on the hulking transformation, Caulifla and Cabba were seen looking terrified by Kale's form. As the Universe 6 warriors stepped back, Kale could be heard uttering some very familiar words.

"Cabba, I'll start by finishing you," Kale said, echoing something which Broly told Goku years ago. The original Legendary Super Saiyan told his opponent, "You Kakarot will be the first of my victims."

As Kale got used to her Super Saiyan form, the girl could then be heard say, "My ki is building - overflowing!" Broly said much the same thing after he entered his fabled form before taking on Goku in Dragon Ball Z: Broly - The Legendary Super Saiyan.

For now, there is nothing to suggest that Dragon Ball Super will make Broly canon, but the threat still remains. The controversially character has been kept aside in films and video games since he debuted in March 1993. The villain plagued Goku and the hero's comrades in Universe 7, so if anyone would recognize Kale in her Super Saiyan form, it would be then. If the group happens to recall Broly when they watch Gale go berserk during the Tournament of Power, Broly will find himself suddenly thrust into the franchise's official canon. And, at that point, the majority of the Dragon Ball fandom would have its mind blown.
