Dragon Ball Super: Are [SPOILER] Plotting Against Goku?

If you have been keeping up with Dragon Ball Super, then you know Goku has done a fine job at making himself into an enemy. The anime recently introduced it 'Universal Survival' storyline with an explosive decree by the Omni-Kings. After Goku approached the pair and asked them to hold a massive multiverse martial arts event, the all-powerful gods agreed. However, their approval was given with some unsavory consequences. The Omni-Kings let it be known that the tournament's losing universes will have their entire worlds destroyed, and the kaioshins were gobsmacked by the announcement.

Now, it looks like Goku has made himself some very powerful enemies as such. In the most recent episode of Dragon Ball Super, fans watched as the Saiyan became the prime subject of the multiverse's wrath, and no one from Universe 7 was brought in to defend the hero.

With the Tournament of Power just days away, Universe 11 held a secret meeting between all the Kaioshin in Dragon Ball save for the overseers of Universe 7. It was there that the group tried to think of ways to change the Omni-Kings' minds, but their discussions continued to draw back to Goku. Many of the gods placed their blame on Goku for his rude behavior and uncouth manners, making him the scapegoat of their frustration. Some of the gods even defend Goku, and they are seem a bit unwilling to test the Omni-Kings due to their limitless power.

Later in the episode, Champa and Vados give their thoughts on the growing unrest with the Kaioshins. The angel warns that the Omni-Kings would gladly destroy the uprising should it happen and that the universes should be thankful for Goku; After all, he unwittingly gave them a chance to fight for their home's survival. Still, the other Gods of Destruction cannot see past Goku's stand-offish behavior, and they seem ready to pile on top of the hero.

So far, it looks like Goku will have a massive target painted on his back when the Tournament of Power begins. While the hero was the one who pushed for the tournament, Goku never meant for the Omni-Kings to set such high stakes. And, in the process, the Saiyan did manage to give the multiverse a chance to prove its worth. Goku's opponents just can't give credit to the hero because of how he revels in the prospect of fighting. The hero is one who has the simple desire to grow stronger, so Goku didn't mean to give the multiverse an out; It just happened.

Apparently, that's not good enough for the Kaioshin and Gods of Destruction. When the actual tournament gets underway, Goku and his teammates better be watching their backs.

The synopsis for "Clashing Fists For The First Time! No. 17 vs Goku" can be read below:
