Dragon Ball Super Illustrator Pens Buff Broly Sketch

With the canon emergence of the Super Saiyan God form in Dragon Ball Super's Tournament of Power, it doesn't mean everyone is forgetting the original Saiyan of legend in Broly.

Dragon Ball manga illustrator Toyotaro, has given fans a new look to Broly in a quick sketch he released of the much-loved character on Twitter. The drawing looks quite similar to the Super Saiyan 3 Broly, which fans were able to use in the Dragon Ball Z Raging Blast video game series. However, this isn't another sketch of the Legendary Super Saiyan Broly as a Super Saiyan 3, it is actually what he would look like in his God form. Drawn by Toyotaro immediately after attending the Dragon Ball Z: The Real 4D cinematic attraction; this is what Broly would look like with access to God ki.

As the image isn't colored in, it is uncertain whether or not Broly's hair has remained green or if it has changed to red, similar to Goku when he used that power up. Fans are yet to see what would happen if this form mixes with God ki, with either Broly or Kale from Universe 6. The clash of transformations could potentially alter the hair color, as Goku Black's hair color changed to Super Saiyan Rose.

It is unlikely that fans will ever see Broly achieve this height, as he has already had three movies, however; it may be seen through Kale. Kale is one of the Saiyan warriors from Universe 6 in the Tournament of Power, whose form is quite similar to Broly's. From what we have seen of Kale's form it also seems to be triggered by a hatred for Goku, although anger is the main trigger as well.

Although, if Broly was to ever be given yet another canon or non-canon return and access the ki of the gods, this sketch by Toyotaro is most likely what he would look like as a Super Saiyan God.
