Earlier this month, Dragon Ball Super fans in the U.S. were treated to a special gift when Toonami began airing the anime's dub after a lengthy wait. The show, which debuted back in 2015 over in Japan, acts as a sequel to the classic Dragon Ball Z anime. Of course, fans were excited to see the new show get its U.S. debut, but other English-speaking fans around the world were left wanting. Well, until now.

Thanks to Toonami Asia, Dragon Ball Super will soon make its debut in countries like India by the end of January. To celebrate the ordeal, the network has released a special dubbed promo for the anime that features new footage of the 'God of Destruction Beerus' arc.

"Join Goku and the rest of the Dragon Ball Super crew as they confront their strongest opponent ever, Beerus the God of Destruction."

"Super Saiyans, Super Villains," the voiceover reads. "Everything is just super."

For fans accustomed to the American dub of Dragon Ball, the voices may sound strange. Social media has been flooded with discussion about the new dub, and fans have given pointed complaints about the voice behind Beerus. However, the colorful promo does give fans a new look at upcoming Dragon Ball Super episodes, and fans are thankful for that.

Of course, fans can catch-up with the entire Dragon Ball Superr series online. Sites like Funimation and Crunchyroll have reached a deal to simulcast the anime directly from Japan, so the series backlog of episodes are available to watch legally on those sites.

In February, a brand-new story arc of Dragon Ball Super is set to kick off in Japan with the 'Universal Survival' saga. You can check out the brief synopsis for it below:

"At Goku's request, the Omni-Kings' "Tournament of Power" martial arts tournament between universes now begins! …But this also proves to be the beginning of universal destruction. What awaits the victors of this tournament, and the vanquished…?! How will these intense team battles between the elites of each universe turn out…?!"

Shortly after the arc was announced, producer Shunki Hashizume had this to say about the impending saga. "Dragon Ball Super enters its new chapter, the "Universe Survival Arc". As you can see from the main visual, it'll be a full-throttle story where Goku and the rest of the Universe 7 warriors form a team to take on a tournament between universes!" he wrote.
