It is going to be a busy year for fans of the Power Rangers. In the U.S., the franchise is set to undergo a major revival thanks to Lionsgate. The studio will be releasing its much-anticipated live-action take on the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers later this spring. And, over in Japan, the original Super Sentai series will be debuting its newest show called Uchū Sentai Kyūranger. The upcoming release promises to be a series unlike any before it, and TV Asahi is making good on that statement thanks to a pair of new promo videos.

So, get ready! You're about to meet Super Sentai's newest Megazord.

In a new extended trailer for Uchū Sentai Kyūranger, fans are treated to unseen footage of the impending release. Not only does the video give audiences a one-on-one introduction of the team's unique warriors, but it also treats them to a preview of Super Sentai's iconic action sequences. A slew of montage clips are shown which depict the universal fighters kicking alien butt and taking names.

Then, towards the end of the clip, fans can see as Uchū Sentai Kyūranger makes its Megazord debut. Footage shows each of the team members locking into the mecha behemoth with what appears to be spherical controls, and the towering robot looks like it will give no mercy to its evil foes.

If you are not familiar with the new show, then you can jump into the Super Sentai fandom at any time. The upcoming series will be the franchise's 41st, and it will differ from its predecessors in a few big ways. Uchū Sentai Kyūranger is set to use star signs, constellations, and other means of astrology as inspiration. The new Super Sentai series is set to have nine heroes collected into its superhero squad. The young team will be squaring off against an evil organization called 'Jark Matter' who come from the future. The group overtook the universe during their time, and they have come to wreak havoc in the past. As such, the Super Sentai will be given powers from the constellations themselves to fight off the universe's most unwelcome invaders.
