Fans of Jada Toys already know their penchant for high-quality die-cast figures, but their new line brings that attention to detail to a smaller scale.

That new series goes by the name Nano Metalfigs, and isn't just limited to one line. Jada has produced multiple series of Nano Metalfigs, including DC Comics, Marvel Comics, and Harry Potter. As with their previous Suicide Squad, DC, and Power Rangers diecast figures, these are 100% die-cast metal, but stand at a smaller 1.64 inches tall, perfect for a less than spacious office desk or shelf.

Each figure weighs about the same as five quarters, and as you can see in the images features a bevy of fan favorites to choose from.

For the DC set the initial offerings include Batman (light blue), Wonder Woman (movie), The Flash (Classic), a Parademon, Cyborg (classic), Supergirl (New 52), Lex Luthor (classic), Batman (Flashpoint), Superman (Rebirth), and Aquaman (classic).

The Marvel side of things includes a Spider-Man focused set, with features Spider-Man (Classic), Spider-Gwen (modern), Green Goblin (classic), Vulture (modern), and Spider-Man once more in his black suit.

Last but not least is the Harry Potter wave, which includes Harry Potter, Ron Weasley, Hermione Granger, Percy Weasley, and Arthur Weasley.

As you can see in the images, the paint application on these figures is bright and vivid, with a more comic inspired palette. Having the bases locked into the costume colors is a nice touch, and it's great to see more dynamic poses for in figures so small. It's also nice to see that Jada is pulling from all eras for the line, with a mix of New 52, Rebirth, and classic styles.

While the DC figures are clearly the best in the initial assortment, the Marvel and Harry Potter lines are still worth grabbing, and the low price point is a major positive factor.

The Nano Metalfigs will be available exclusively at Walmart from July 1st to August 1st, and more than 50 figures are planned for launch. Individual figures will retail for $0.94 and packs of five can be purchased for $4.68.

You can take a look at the figures in the gallery.
