While Injustice 2 looms on the horizon for WB Games, the digital-first comicbook that tells the story leading up to the original Injustice: Gods Among Us continues to roll on, as it speeds to its conclusion, which will see it directly overlap the start of the game's story. Courtesy of DC Comics, we have an exclusive look at Chapter 28 of Injustice: Gods Among Us - Year 5, which premieres online tomorrow, Tuesday June 28.

With an official description like that, the story from writer Brian Buccellato and artist Tom Derenick is sure to have some twists and turns. After all, we know that at the start of the Injustice game's story, The Flash was indeed still on Superman's side. If seeing the love of his life arrested by villains acting as Superman's thugs doesn't change his mind, though, it's hard to think he even has a breaking point!
