GTA 5 and GTA Online Receive Massive New Update, Patch Notes Revealed

12/12/2023 11:54 am EST

Hot off the heels of the first trailer for Grand Theft Auto VI being unveiled, Rockstar Games has now pushed out a huge new update for Grand Theft Auto V that brings big changes to GTA Online. Despite being over a decade old, Rockstar has never stopped supporting the online component of GTA V and has continued to push out new patches and content at a frequent pace. Now, to close out 2023, this is proving to be true once again as new missions have become available to play starting today.

Downloadable across all platforms, title update 1.68 for GTA V notably gives players new missions, vehicles, and races to compete in. These new missions, in particular, are tied to the Salvage Yard, which is a new property that can be purchased. Outside of these new additions, Rockstar has also made a ton of other changes that have impacted daily challenges, creator tools, and so much more.
