Halo Infinite Season 5 Hotfix Patch Notes Announced

10/26/2023 08:52 pm EDT

Halo Infinite Season 5 launched about a week ago, bringing with it a ton of new content. Plus, the new season introduced a more "streamlined" season pass, letting players get to the good stuff more quickly. That said, there were certainly some issues with the new season, particularly on the performance side. Today, Halo Infinite developer 343 Industries dropped a new hotfix that aims to patch out several of those issues.

The most notable fix here is that players using Vsync on PC with a refresh rate of 120hz or higher will no longer have a restricted framerate. Granted, that might be a relatively small chunk of the playerbase, but it was a big source of annoyance for players. 343 has also introduced some performance and stability fixes in the Forge and Customization menus.

Halo Infinite is available now on Xbox and PC platforms. The full patch notes for the hotfix can be found below.
