Injustice 2 Getting an "Open All" Button for Motherboxes

There are two things we love about Injustice 2. Well, if you read our review you'll see there are dozens of things we like about Injustice 2, but two of the things that we think you'll love too are the frequency with which the game rewards you for playing, and the way that NetherRealm Studios listens to its fans. As for the rewards, every time you play Injustice 2, especially if you're in a guild, you earn multiple Motherboxes filled with new gear and loot for your fighters. This actually has caused some issues for players, because those Motherboxes all need to be opened one by one.

Not for long. Ed Boon has heard your cries, and the folks at NetherRealm Studios respect your time. When you boot up Injustice 2, you do so because you're ready to play the game, not open endless loot boxes. Even if you're down to spend some time customizing your heroes, it feels like a waste of time spending upward of 5-10 minutes holding X or A repeatedly to crack open these things. That's why Ed Boon confirmed that an "Open All" option is coming for those of you who want it.

For anyone who doesn't play the game, this sounds like a small issue. But those of us who play the game a lot realize that this is going to save so much time. As you continually level up different characters, complete missions in the Multiverse, and level up and contribute to your guild, you're going to get showered with new stuff. For those of you who hate the fact that loot boxes come so rarely in Overwatch, Injustice 2 will be a very refreshing change of pace for you.

Now you have the option to do away with all of the tedium instantly, and start customizing! If that doesn't excite you, then you can at least get pumped about the fact that Injustice 2 started out as an incredible game, and it's only going to get better over time. Better in every regard, not just in its balance and performance. NetherRealm Studios is renowned for keeping an open ear turned toward fans, and this simple addition shows that they care about the things that we care about.

Thanks dudes.
