League Of Legends Omega Squad Login Coming With New Skins

A new League of Legends login theme will soon be rolling out to the client, one that involves a bit more stealth and teamwork than the current Kayn login.

You can see the login above, uploaded by the YouTube account frostyNinjawho grabs all of the login screens once they hit the PBE for testing before they go to the main client.

With some uplifting music, the new Omega Squad login brings the new members of the Omega Squad team together while also showing off how different each of the skins is despite being in the same skin line. Fizz is an easy one to pick out in the water, but some players have actually had a hard time spotting Veigar since he's mashed in with the other two champions, Tristana and Twitch.

Twitch looks plenty more menacing with this skin that puts him on a different end of the crazed spectrum that he usually exists on, holding a knife with his tail and what's likely some sort of chemical weapon in hand. Tristana and Fizz still seem pretty true to character here, but Veigar's Omega Squad skins is probably one of the best examples of a skin that changes the champions base appearance the most.

While these may be new skins being added soon, some have speculated that these might not be new Omega Squad members, but rather they're old ones. And if you take a look at each of the skins' splash arts that are included here in a gallery, it certainly seems like that could be true.

Each of the splash arts has a distressed, worn-out look to them almost as if they've been altered with an old-time filter to make them seem like old photos. You'll also notice that Omega Squad Teemo, the last man standing, as he proclaims, is absent from the login, but he's present in each one of the splash arts in a much younger and inexperienced form.

The running theory is that Teemo learned from them and became a part of the Omega Squad team before all of the other members were gone. It's a pretty sound theory that's all but confirmed at this point, but considering these are just skins, there likely won't be any big to-do or lore update to confirm it when they're released closer to the next patch.
