A new Keystone Rune that's coming to League of Legends soon will allow players to earn more gold and conjure up items for themselves, sometimes even earning items that have been removed from the game.

The new Keystone Rune was revealed during the League of Legends livestream that was scheduled to showcase many of the changes coming during this year's preseason. If follows a mini-site that was posted just recently as well that allowed players to build their own rune page ahead of the Runes Reforged release. It also gave them the chance to see a breakdown of all of the new Keystone Runes, all of them except for the one that's been discussed during the livestream.

Fittingly falling into the Inspiration rune path that revolves around bending the game's rules in order to dominate opponents, the last of the Keystone Runes seems to tentatively be called Looter. While it doesn't have a word-for-word definition like the other Keystone Runes do, Riot Wrekz gave a brief explanation of its purpose.

"After you cast a spell, similar to Sheen, your next attack earns you gold when you hit a champion and also has a chance to loot you items," Wrekz said during the stream.

The basic idea of the rune operates much like the Bandit mastery does now, but it also has a unique twist: It carries a chance to "loot" items for players. You won't be stealing items from enemies, but there is a chance that the rune will magically make certain items appear in your inventory. Consumables were one of the categories that was mentioned, and players can even conjure up old items like Mana Potions and Oracle's Elixer from the new Keystone Rune.

It was noted that you're not going to be pulling an Infinity Edge or any similarly powerful item out of thin air while smacking around enemy champions, so don't expect to bank all of your luck on the Looter rune. However, there is a set loot table for what it can provide you during your matches, and it was said that the loot possibilities will expand as the game goes on. You might be able to pull some worthwhile items into your inventory later on, an RNG element that might not sit well with some players but would also be an extremely attractive option for others.

The Keystone Rune doesn't have all of its details revealed just yet, but a more detailed description is likely to come soon when they hit the PBE tomorrow.
