Get the League of Legends Skin You Want Most With This Your Shop Trick

An interesting trick has surfaced related to the Your Shop feature that's recently opened up in League of Legends that might guarantee players get the skins they want from the individualized savings.

The Your Shop feature opens every so often and is intended to give League players specialized discounts for their most-played champions. A bot digs through each players' recent games to see who they're playing the most, and in return for their dedication to that champ, players get some heavily-discounted cosmetic options.

With six possible skins to pick up from each Your Shop session, there's plenty of chances for picking up rare skins, but this trick that one player found might push the randomized results a bit more in your favor.

The trick in question will only work if players haven't opened up their Your Shop savings yet, so as the League player who reported the trick said, most players are probably out of luck. But if you've been taking a breather from League or want to be ahead of the game for next time, the trick might still work for you.

Redditor and League player xChris98x shared the trick with the League subreddit and explained the steps necessary to potentially rig the Your Shop. It's as simple as figuring out which skins you want and typing the full name of those skins several times in the skins tab of the in-client store. After doing that a couple of times and opening up the Your Shop results, you'll hopefully see several of those skins making up your options, now with steep discounts.

Does the Trick Work?

The user who posted the guide says that the trick worked out pretty well for him and said that he was able to net a couple of awesome skins like Blood Moon Jhin and Arcade Sona, but not every skin that was searched for showed up in the results.

Others within the comments backed up the poster's statements about the trick while thanking him for the discounts they received on the skins that they wanted most of all. Many who commented on the post said that they get skins they'd recently been looking at anyways, and those who tried the trick occasionally had a few skins show up.

However, there were still plenty of others who talked down the trick as a placebo effect, saying that they hadn't experienced similar results. Trying it on more than one account still didn't always yield worthwhile results, so even though there's definitely some personalized influence going on in everyone's Your Shop deals, whether the in-client store affects it at all remains to be confirmed.
