Phasmophobia Releases Massive New Update, Patch Notes Unveiled

Kinetic Games has been no stranger to rolling out routine updates for its co-op horror game Phasmophobia over the past few months, but today's new patch might bring with it more changes than ever before. If you haven't played Phasmophobia in quite some time, this new update will promise to make it feel like a very different game moving forward.

The aim of today's update, according to Kinetic Games, is to put Phasmophobia in "a much more stable state which will allow for new content to start being worked on." The patch, as a whole, is solidifying certain changes that have been tested out in a beta version of the game over the past few months. Some of the updates include alterations to ghost AI, new options in the settings menu, and a handful of smaller tweaks that should make the game run much smoother. In addition, a few bugs that were tied to the game's VR iteration have now been fixed to go along with a litany of other bug fixes.

Phasmophobia is still only available PC and is also in early access. As such, expect to see many more updates like this one in the future as it nears its 1.0 version.
