Funko's NYCC Marvel Exclusives Will Look Perfect In Your Collection

Funko has been wowing fans across the pop culture landscape with its New York Comic Con exclusives, but one popular license has been missing from the pack - until now.

Earlier today, the collectible company unveiled their Marvel Comics-inspired NYCC exclusives. The figures cover the gambit from Marvel Studios' newest productions to comic icons to a fan-favorite director.

Leading off the line, after plenty of waiting by Marvel fans, is a James Gunn Funko Pop! figure. The Guardians of the Galaxy writer and director gets his own three-inch figure, wearing a green hoodie and a KISS-inspired raccoon tshirt. Gunn is the second director to get his own Funko! pop figure, following Ghostbusters director Paul Feig.

With Thor: Ragnarok set to hit theaters in November, Funko has two new NYCC exclusives for fans to add to their collection. Fans can get their hands on a Pop! figure of The Grandmaster (Jeff Goldblum), as well as a "Casual" Hulk (Mark Ruffalo) Pop! figure. The Grandmaster has been an interesting character for Funko collectors, after one of his Mystery Mini figures appeared to provide a connection to Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2.

And after the IMAX premiere of Marvel's Inhumans, fans can get their hands on a special edition Lockjaw figure, which is in Funko's fuzzy "flocked" style.

And finally, the line includes two Funko products inspired by Old Man Logan. The older version of Wolverine bares his claws on a Pop! figure, as well as a tiny Dorbz figure.

The James Gunn Funko Pop! figure will be made in a limited run of 500, meaning it will only be available at the convention and at Funko's website. The remainder of the Marvel figures will be "shared", meaning that fans can pick them up at select stores during NYCC weekend. For a look at some of Funko's other NYCC exclusives, click here.
