Billie Lourd Shares Throwback Photo Of Her And Carrie Fisher

Since the recent death of both her mother, Carrie Fisher, and her grandmother, Debbie Reynolds, Scream Queens star Billie Lourd hasn't said much to the public, or to her fans. Though she did take a moment to thank everyone for the support, she has stayed off social media for the most part. She has finally returned and gave the world a glorious photo or her and her mother.

Lourd, 24, posted an older photo of her and her mother on her Instagram page on Wednesday. I showed the two - Lourd much younger than she is now - sitting in the back of a car, leaning in close. It looks as if Lourd is wearing fuzzy bunny ears, though it's hard to tell. But, what is clear, is that the two are beyond happy.

"'If my life weren't funny then it would just be true and that is unacceptable,'" Lourd wrote quoting her mother's work.

While it's beyond impossible to understand how Lourd is feeling now, so soon after the death of her mother, she does an excellent job of letting everyone know that she is trying to find the best in the situation.

"Finding the funny might take a while but I learned from the best and her voice will forever be in my head and in my heart," Lourd concluded.

Fisher, best known for her work as a writer and her role in the Star Wars franchise, passed away from a heart attack in December. The following day, her mother, Reynolds, another beloved Hollywood actress, passed away from a stroke. Lourd was very close to both women.

The young actress, however, has found some comfort from her co-star Taylor Lautner, as well as from her fans and the fans of her mother and grandmother.

Fisher and Reynolds had memorials held in their honor, and Reynolds was laid to rest on January 6th, while Fisher was cremated. Fisher's remains are currently in a Prozac-pill-shaped urn of her design, which just goes to show that even in death, Fisher found humor.
