The Walking Dead's sixth season is still a few months off but the zombie slayers will be assembling at San Diego Comic Con in less than a week.

But what can we expect from The Walking Dead's San Diego Comic Con panel? We all suspect the series' beloved cast of Andrew Lincoln, Norman Reedus, Melissa McBride, Chandler Riggs, Ross Marquand, Michael Cudlitz and more will be on hand, but will there be any surprises? Here's what we expect at the panel.

New Cast Members

We've learned about several new cast members who will be playing key characters from The Walking Dead's comic book series but for the most part, we're yet to hear from them. It's likely the new cast members will assemble on stage and discuss their experience with the production so far but more importantly, reveal who they are playing.

In the off-season we have learned Corey Hawkins of the upcoming Straight Outta Compton will be playing supply runner turned zombie herder, Heath. We've also learned of a casting call fitting the description of Dr. Denise Cloyd from the comics. These characters and probably others will be introduced at Comic Con but don't hold your breathe for Negan - it's probably not happening this soon.

Trailer

It's pretty common for The Walking Dead to release a trailer for the upcoming season at San Diego Comic Con. The good thing for The Walking Dead fans is that unlike other movies or television shows that require fans A) have a Comic Con badge and B) sleep on the side walk for a chance to get into Hall H, AMC usually releases the Comic Con trailer online on the same day it shows in Hall H.

The Wolves

The Wolves have been hyped up for a long time now. It doesn't seem likely any of the actors portraying this "Sadistic, twisted," characters as described by Greg Nicotero, but the cast, producers, and writer Robert Kirkman will probably acknowledge the looming questions regarding The Walking Dead's apparent new villainous group.

Premiere Date

There is no premiere date set for The Walking Dead's sixth season just yet. In years past, Comic Con has been the place we learn the exact mid-October date when The Walking Dead will return on AMC.

What are you hoping to see from The Walking Dead's San Diego Comic Con panel?
