Transformers: The Last Knight Trailer Passes 100 Million Views

The exciting, yet somewhat confusing, trailer for Transformers: The Last Knight has officially passed 100 million views sinced it released this past Monday during ESPN's Monday Night Football.

After the first trailer for Michael Bay's last entry in the Transformers franchise hit the internet, social media outlets picked it up immediately and fans everywhere tuned in to Melrose lot's biggest trailer launch to date.

Transformers: The Last Knight trailer hit 93.6 million views in the first 24 hours, making it the third most-watched trailer in 2016.

In China, the world's second largest film market, the trailer hit 16 million views in 24 hours and was a trending topic on top social sites.

The Transformers franchise has been a top money-maker ever since the first film was released. The live-action films based on the popular Autobots from the 1980s Hasbro toy line has earned over 3.7 billion at the global box office with 4 previous films.

The cast of Transformers: The Last Knight features Mark Wahlberg (Planet of the Apes) as Cade Yeager, Isabela Moner (100 Things To Do Before High School) as Izabella, Josh Duhamel (Life as We Know It) as Lieutenant Colonel William Lennox, John Turturro (The Big Lebowski) as Seymour Simmons, and Tyrese Gibson (Furious 7) as Robert Epps, as well as Jerrod Carmichael (Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising), Anthony Hopkins (Thor: The Dark World). The voice cast includes Peter Cullen as Optimus Prime and John Goodman (10 Cloverfield Lane) as Hound.
