Fashion Designer Takes Power Rangers To The Runway

The Power Rangers are making their presence felt not only in the cinematic, television, and comic worlds but also evidently on the runway.

Thanks to fashion designer Bobby Abley, there was plenty of Morphin power during his most recent fashion show. Models went down the runway with Power Ranger inspired designs, like a Red Ranger themed jumpsuit and a Green Ranger themed jumpsuit that sports a blue Triceratops. It is odd that it doesn't have a Dragon of some kind since the Triceratops is affiliated with the Blue Ranger, but guess it will have to just be chalked up to liberties taken for fashion's sake. The Blue Ranger's helmet shows up as well though later in the presentation.

FashionWeek shared a few pictures of the lineup on Twitter saying "@bobbyabley brought Power Rangers to the runway at #LFW Men's, which kicked off today." You can see the images in the tweet above.

"Saban's Power Rangers follows five ordinary teens who must become something extraordinary when they learn that their small town of Angel Grove - and the world - is on the verge of being obliterated by an alien threat. Chosen by destiny, our heroes quickly discover they are the only ones who can save the planet. But to do so, they will have to overcome their real-life issues and before it's too late, band together as the Power Rangers."

Power Rangers stars Bryan Cranston (Zordon), Elizabeth Banks (Rita Repulsa), Naomi Scott (Kimberly/Pink Ranger), David Denman (Sam Scott), Becky G. (Trini/Yellow Ranger), Sarah Grey (Amanda), RJ Cyler (Billy Cranston/Blue Ranger), Emily Maddison (Rebecca), Ludi Lin (Zack Taylor/Black Ranger), and Dacre Montgomery (Jason Lee Scott/Red Ranger).

Power Rangers is set to land in theaters on March 24, 2017.
