Go Go Power Rangers #3 Preview Released

Did you know a date with the Yellow Ranger costs $2000? No? Well hey, neither did Trini.
That realization is one of the many things fans learn in the latest issue of BOOM! Studios Go Go Power Rangers. Issue #3 hits next Wednesday, and as you can see in the new preview for issue #3, fans will learn a bit more about Billy's past, as well as more about his friend Eugene.
One of the best parts of this series is the delightful artwork of Dan Mora, and his winning streak continues in issue #3. We've all made laster blasters and swords out of everything from sticks to remote controls, and there's a lovely charm to Billy's imaginary world. But exactly what happened to their friendship? That is the question on most fans' minds.
The classic Power Rangers didn't have certain aspects to worry about in their day, including things like social media and all the branding that comes with it. This being set in more modern times, it is something that even superheroes have to factor in. Zack doesn't exactly get a great reception to his (valid) point, but he does inform Trini that someone is pronouncing themselves the real Yellow Ranger and auctioning off a chance to go out on a date.
It doesn't seem to bother her though, at least until she hears the price.
Go Go Power Rangers tackles the early days of their superhero careers, whereas the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers series tackles the present. If you've been wanting a fresh take on the Rangers that blends the more iconic aspects of the franchise with modern sensibilities, Go Go Power Rangers should be right up your alley.
