Original Power Rangers Cast Reunites On The Red Carpet

The new iteration of the Power Rangers is expected to dominate the box office this weekend, but that doesn't mean people have forgotten about the old-school heroes.

In addition to the young actors taking the screen this weekend, the cast of 1993's Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers showed up for the red carpet premiere this week. Many of the actors have kept themselves busy over the years, but they haven't appeared as an entire unit for quite some time.

Luckily for fans, the group joined up together this week on the red carpet. Well, at least most of them did.

Four of the original actors posed for a photo for Entertainment Tonight, and they took up some classic action stances.

Austin St. John (aka Jason Lee Scott, the Red Ranger), Walter Jones (aka Zack Taylor, the Black Ranger), Jason David Frank (aka Tommy Oliver, the Green Ranger), and David Yost (aka Billy Cranston, the Blue Ranger) all teamed up for the awesome photo.

Amy Jo Johnson wasn't able to make the photo op, even though she still remains incredibly close with many of the cast members.

Sadly, the photo was also without the original Yellow Ranger, Thuy Trang. The actress was killed in a car accident in 2001, at the young age of 27.

Power Rangers is in theaters now.
