Power Rangers #12 Reveals First Look At The TigerZord

Tommy and Billy have found themselves stranded in Lord Drakkon's dark dimension, which would be a bad situation even without the recent reveal that Drakkon is actually a dark version of the Green Ranger.

Spoilers incoming for Mighty Morphin Power Rangers #12, so if you haven't read it yet you've been warned.

Things get worse when Drakkon and his forces surround the two displayed Rangers, but the duo luckily has two things going in their favor. First, they happen to be on the old Ranger stomping grounds, namely Zordon's old headquarters. It was here that the Rangers originally fell to Drakkon, and one look around reveals that some of the Zords have been left behind.

That brings up the second lucky piece, that being the White Ranger's sword Saba, who decides they need a distraction. What better distraction than a Zord, but Saba doesn't just go with any ordinary Zord. No no, he opts for the White Ranger's TigerZord, which reigns down destruction on Drakkon's army, letting the group escape.

It was revealed last issue that this universe's Rangers had already called upon the ThunderZords, the upgraded and more powerful versions of their original DinoZords. The series continues to add more fan favorites with each issue, and they're typically implemented in new and exciting ways.
