Over two years ago, Ricardo Medina's roommate - Josh Sutter - was stabbed to death. Medina, who played the Red Rangers on the Power Rangers Wild Force series, didn't claim any responsibility.

Now, the story has changed, and Medina has spoken up. The actor has admitted that he killed his former-roommate. With that guilty plea, Medina will face six years in prison.

Back in 2016, Medina faced a 26 year sentence when he was initially charged with the murder. Now, he faces "one felony count of voluntary manslaughter and admitted an allegation of using a sword in the killing,"according to the Los Angeles County District Attorney's office.

Medina portrayed the Red Ranger, AKA Cole Evans, on Power Rangers Wild Force show in 2002. The actor was also involved in the Power Rangers Super Samurai series in 2012.

"Saban's Power Rangers follows five ordinary high school kids who must become something extraordinary when they learn that their small town of Angel Grove – and the world – is on the verge of being obliterated by an alien threat. Chosen by destiny, our heroes quickly discover that they are the only ones who can save the planet. But to do so they will have to overcome their real-life issues and band together as the Power Rangers before it is too late."

Power Rangers stars Bryan Cranston (Zordon), Elizabeth Banks (Rita Repulsa), Naomi Scott (Kimberly/Pink Ranger), David Denman (Sam Scott), Becky G. (Trini/Yellow Ranger), Sarah Grey (Amanda), RJ Cyler (Billy Cranston/Blue Ranger), Emily Maddison (Rebecca), Ludi Lin (Zack Taylor/Black Ranger), and Dacre Montgomery (Jason Lee Scott/Red Ranger).

Power Rangers is set to land in theaters on March 24, 2017.
