New Power Rangers Clip Spotlights Jason And Kimberly

Most of the trailers thus far for Power Rangers have centered on the five teenagers learning about their abilities, along with some epic battle scenes involving their Zords. The newest clip from the film takes a different approach, however, showing the characters that reside underneath the iconic costumes.
The clip features the Pink Ranger (Naomi Scott) and the Red Ranger (Dacre Montgomery) as they look out upon the city of Angel Grove. Kimberly doesn't seem to have many positive memories of her hometown, and surprisingly neither does Jason, despite at one point being a star quarterback for his high school. Hopefully, there are more little instances of dialogue like this in the midst of all the epic moving parts, as the characters themselves are what will make the film resonate with a new generation of fans. Speaking of the fans, Power Rangers is currently scoring a 3.58 out of 5 on ComicBook.com's anticipation rankings.

Power Rangers stars Bryan Cranston (Zordon), Elizabeth Banks (Rita Repulsa), Naomi Scott (Kimberly/Pink Ranger), David Denman (Sam Scott), Becky G. (Trini/Yellow Ranger), Sarah Grey (Amanda), RJ Cyler (Billy Cranston/Blue Ranger), Emily Maddison (Rebecca), Ludi Lin (Zack Taylor/Black Ranger), and Dacre Montgomery (Jason Lee Scott/Red Ranger).
Power Rangers is set to land in theaters on March 24, 2017.
