'Power Rangers Ninja Steel': "Let's Have Fun" Clip Released

The Power Rangers just wanted to have a friendly race, but as you can see in the newest clip, that just isn't in the cards.

This week's episode of Power Rangers Ninja Steel involves a new villain for the Rangers to fight, fittingly named ShoeSpike. This time around though the enemy is a bit more subtle in his approach, going undercover as a fellow runner who is there to help in the Ranger's time of need.

As you can see in the clip, his real motives quickly become clear. Brody and Levi are suddenly entranced, and it doesn't take long for the other Rangers to notice something is off about them, especially since minutes before they were the ones saying they were just here for fun.

This is ShoeSpike's second clip appearance, as the first clip from the new episode reveals his monster form. You'll notice the similarities to his running outfit in human form of course, but when in this form he sports huge laces up and down his arms and chest. Even his ponytail has laces, and you can't miss him thanks to the neon green, purple, and pink design he's sporting alongside Brody and Levi.

It is also revealed in that clip what happens to the other Ranges. When Calvin happens upon the Brody and Levi, he notices the trophies on the picnic table are talking to him. At some point during the race, Preston, Hayley, and Sarah tried to beat ShoeSpike, but failed. Once they lose to him they are turned into trophies, and a similar fate lies in wait for Brody and Levi unless Calvin can stop it.

Power Rangers Ninja Steel is the 24th entry in the Power Rangers franchise, and the 7th entry since Haim Saban purchased the franchise back from Disney, which held it from 2003 to 2009.

Power Rangers Ninja Steel airs on Nickelodeon Saturdays at 9 am.
