Power Rangers Ninja Steel Includes A Zordon Easter Egg

Cosmo Royale of Power Rangers Ninja Steel might not be good for much, but he did manage to sneak in a Mighty Morphin easter egg right under fans noses.

Spoilers incoming for episode 17 of Power Rangers Ninja Steel The Adventures of Redbot incoming, so if you don't want to know this is your last chance.

Seriously...we mean it!

Okay, cool beans. So the Adventures of Redbot episode finds Rangers ally Redbot launching his own blog. It doesn't take long for it to become quite successful, though he does have a habit of, let's call it tweaking the adventures of the Power Rangers to make him the star. Redbot's actions and surprising success manage to inspire someone else to follow his lead, though you might be surprised to find out it is none other than Cosmo Royale (via Power Rangers NOW).

Cosmo Royale starts his own blog, and takes a page from Redbot's book in changing the stories to fit his "Cosmo Royale is the Galaxy Warriors Champion" narrative. It's here that fans are treated to two easter eggs, with the first one coming from the Mighty Morphin era. At one point the camera closes in on his blog post, where fans can make out a very familiar name. That would be the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers mentor and guide Zordon, and you might be surprised to find out what his home planet is known for.

It turns out that Zordon's home planet of Eltar has over the years become a fine producer of silk, and it also so happens Cosmo Royale purchases his bed sheets from there specifically because of their expertise. Who knew right?

As for the second easter egg, that would be the title of his blog entry. He titles it Cosmo vs. Rangers: Dawn of Showbiz. If that sounds familiar, it should, as it sounds an awful like Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice. Unfortunately, fans don't have much of a chance to see more of his written words, as Galvanax takes out some frustration by destroying Cosmo's computer.

For Cosmo's sake, hopefully, the ship has Google Drive.

Power Rangers Ninja Steel airs Saturdays on Nickelodeon at 9 am.
