Is This When Saban Will Announce The Power Rangers 25th Anniversary Reunion Special?

There's been plenty of anticipation for Saban's 25th Power Rangers anniversary festivities, and now fans have a target date for the big announcement.

The date in question came from Power Rangers Ninja Steel's Peter Sudarso, who plays Preston Tien the Blue Ranger on the show. Sudarso appeared on That Hashtag Show's Ranger Wrap Up after last week's episode of Ninja Steel, and in confirming Chrysti Ane's previous comments about an upcoming announcement, he might have given away the when and where.

"We do have something special for the 25th anniversary. It's related to the show, but uh, I guess you guys will see what I mean in October… I think they're planning on announcing something this October at uh, New York Comic Con, I think?"

New York Comic Con is held at the Javits Center from October 5th through the 8th, so fans won't have to wait very long if that is indeed when the announcement will take place.

Thus far the only thing that has been known is that something is being planned, but at least now fans can mark their calendars to find out what Saban has been up to. Cast or details aren't known yet, but Jason David Frank and Ciara Hanna are suspected to be involved. There's even a wild theory that Frank could play the reunion episode's villain, but nothing official has been announced.

Power Rangers Ninja Steel is back on Nickelodeon, and you can submit your ranking for the show here.
