However, it's just been revealed that the first big announcement will be arriving first thing Tuesday morning.

Good Morning America tweeted out a video on Monday, telling everyone to make sure they check out Tuesday's show. It states that, in honor of the franchise's 40th anniversary, that they will have a major announcement happening live on the following day's show.

The video teases that stars Mark Hamill and Daisy Ridley will be live on the show to help reveal whatever could be coming. The video also states that fans will want to "Be a part of this Force", and that the announcement is "40 years in the making."

There was no indication as to what this announcement could be, but many people are thinking it could be the unveiling of the release date for The Last Jedi's trailer.

Star Wars: The Last Jedi, from writer/director Rian Johnson, is in post-production now for a December 15, 2017 release. Daisy Ridley returns to star as Rey, with other returning stars John Boyega, Oscar Isaac, Adam Driver, Domhnall Gleeson, Gwendoline Christie, Peter Mayhew, Andy Serkis, Anthony Daniels, Lupita Nyong'o Mark Hamill, and Carrie Fisher as General Leia Organa. Benicio Del Toro and Laura Dern join the cast in as-yet-unrevealed roles.
