Rogue One is still dominating the box office, but Star Wars fans from around the world are taking no breaks when looking ahead to the next two films in the franchise.

Episode VIII is hitting theaters in December of this year, and it looks to be one of the most anticipated movies of all time. However, much of the buzz surrounding Star Wars has revolved around the 2018 film - a stand-alone Han Solo film.

Alden Ehrenreich was cast as the young version of Harrison Ford's ever-popular character, and fan-favorite actor Donald Glover has been chosen to play the film's other lead smuggler, Lando Calrissian.

While Ehrenreich is fairly new to the Star Wars universe, it looks like he's got the greatest mentor in the galaxy.

On Wednesday, the actor was spotted at lunch with none other than Harrison Ford himself. The two spent some time in Santa Monica chatting over the portrayal of the timeless character.

It was quite a surreal moment for Star Wars fans, as they got to see two versions of their favorite character across a table from one another.

After this sighting, it's obvious Han Solo approves of his young counterpart - now if only the Wookie can get on board...

Rogue One: A Star Wars Story is in theaters now. Directed by Gareth Edwards, it's the first of the new standalone features from Lucasfilm and Disney, which take place outside the core "Skywalker Saga" of films noted by an Episode number. Rogue One tells the story of the small band of rebels that were tasked with stealing the plans to the first Death Star. The story spins directly off the opening crawl from the original Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope. In that crawl, it read: "Rebel spaceships, striking from a hidden base, have won their first victory against the evil Galactic Empire. During the battle, Rebel spies managed to steal secret plans to the Empire's ultimate weapon, the DEATH STAR, an armored space station with enough power to destroy an entire planet."
