Star Wars Rebels Next 5 Episode Titles and Synopses Revealed

Thanks to descriptions on Germany's Disney XD as spotted by Jedi Bibliothek and translated to MakingStarWars, we ahve the next five episode titles and synopses for Star Wars Rebels. The description for these will read slightly differently when officially released in the U.S., as the synopsis for episode 307, "Imperial Supercommandos" demonstrates, but it's close enough to understand what's coming. Mild spoilers ahead!

3×07 "Imperial Supercommandos"

After losing contact to the Protectors of Concord Dawn, Sabine, Ezra, and Fenn Rau investigate. They quickly discover that Imperial Mandalorians have taken over the station.

3×08 "Iron Squadron"

Ezra and Sabine join forces to subdue a young ace pilot and his crew, who are foolishly risking their lives. That is the only way they can defend their home.

3×09 "The Wynkahthu Job"

The Rebels join forces with ruthless pirates to salvage a freighter full of weapons the Rebellion needs. However, the mission turns out way more dangerous than they expected.

3×10 "An Inside Man"

Looking for information on a new Imperial weapon, Ezra and Kanan break into an Imperial factory on Lothal. However, they have to trust an enemy to escape from a building that is about to be locked down.

3×11 "Visions and Voices"

Haunted by visions of Maul, Ezra has to journey across the galaxy. Upon arriving at his destination, he has to participate in a strange ritual to sever his connection to Maul.

So what do these tell us? Well, we knew the Mandalorian arc was on the way, and it sounds like it'll be two episodes, with the heavy focus on Ezra and Sabine in the descriptions for the next two. Just who the ace pilot is on Mandalore should be interesting; Sabine's family connections will be explored a bit this year, afterall - oh yeah, and she'll get a jetpack!

Sounds like we'll have a fun heist episode featuring the return of the pirate Hondo Ohnaka and possibly also Cikatro Vizago. We saw the pirates in the Star Wars Rebels first half of season three trailer, with Hondo in additional scenes beyond his role in the premiere, so this is probably where that hits.

310 is very interesting and ominous sounding. Kanan and Ezra going back to Lothal is always cause for pause, and with the Empire's increased focus on their band of Rebels, going to a clearly occupied planet is dangerous. There's also the question of what the new Imperial weapon might be... could this actually be about the Death Star and tie-in even superficially to Rogue One: A Star Wars Story? The episode should air just about two weeks before the movie comes out, so the timing isn't too far off for it.

Finally, rounding out the first half of the season, we'll get some level of conclusion to the Ezra/Maul arc. This is where the Force mysticism we saw in the trailer should come in, with the green mist the Witches of Dathomir were known for making its presence felt as Ezra tries to fight off the dark side and his conneciton to Maul. It should be full of new exploration of the Force, and give Star Wars fans a lot to think about and talk about during the expected mid-season break.

Star Wars Rebels returns Saturday November 5 to Disney XD at 8:30 p.m.
