Star Wars Rebels Secret Cargo Preview Features Mon Mothma, Thrawn, and a Familiar Location

Mon Mothma is back to the franchise on this week's Star Wars Rebels, and the Rebel Alliance leader has a message to all those being oppressed by the Empire, though she's concerned it's not being heard. In this new clip from "Secret Cargo," airing this weekend on Disney XD, we hear her actually say Alliance, and a call to action. They're heading to a meeting...

ON DANTOOINE.

Deep breaths, Star Wars fans, but yes, that Dantooine. The Dantooine that was the first official headquarters of the Rebel Alliance. The Dantooine that was the base they left behind for Yavin-4, where they are during Rogue One: A Star Wars Story and Star Wars: A New Hope. The Dantooine that Leia lies and says is the current location of the Rebel Base, trying to save her homeworld.

Whew. Yeah, this episode looks like it'll be one for the books. To put a little icing on the cake, it looks like we're getting Ezra in full starfighter pilot mode, a part of the Jedi job he doesn't get to do very often, and Genevieve O'Reilly, who played Mon Mothma in a deleted scene in Revenge of the Sith and on the big screen in Rogue One, is back to voice the character.
