New 'The Walking Dead' Issue #171 Preview Released

The exploration of Pittsburgh continues in a new preview for The Walking Dead issue #171.

In the preview released by Skybound, Michonne has a plan for her group as they venture through this uncharted territory, and it might be putting them at risk. "Since we're at the edge of the city... I want to try something," Michonne says. "Be ready to ride off as fast as you can if need be... Okay?"

"We have a new character, new location, and more coming your way," the Skybound post reads. Based on the cover for issue #171, the "Princess" referenced in the issue's title will be the new character and one which has been living a drastically different lifestyle than Michonne's group. Whether or not she is the same person Eugene has been talking to over the radio is unknown and also unlikely considering the distance between Pittsburgh and Ohio.

When issue #170 left off, Eugene and Siddiq were ready to duke it out when the latter dropped a bombshell prompting speculation he was the father of Rosita's unborn child. Based on the last panel of the preview for issue #171, it appears Eugene will still be holding on to some of the rage spawning from the knowledge of Siddiq and Rosita's relationship.

The Walking Dead issue #171 hits shelves on Wednesday, September 6th.

The Walking Dead's sibling series Fear the Walking Dead returns September 10th. The Walking Dead will return for its eighth season on October 22, 2017.
