Star Wars Episode VII Set Captured on Airborne Video While Filming

Following yesterday's still photographs that showed a Millennium Falcon set and what looked like another X-wing fighter, a video has been released today by an amateur photographer who flew a small, unmanned drone helicopter over the set.

The shots were taken during shooting, meaning that this is the first video footage from the set (although there have been a handful of photos, both official and not). It was taken from high enough up that those performing may not have seen it, but it as a result the value of being video over stills is somewhat lost in that everything is very far away.

You can check it out below, though...!

It's clearly taken over the same spot, which makes sense given that the previous photographer was pretty clear about where their shot was taken. Unlike Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice director Zack Snyder, though, there has been no official response this week from J.J. Abrams. A pity, that; it might be nice to see an official shot of the Falcon after all this time...!
