Watch A Hobbit-Inspired Safety Video From Air New Zealand

Air New Zealand has released a new airline safety video based on the country's primary export, Middle-earth movies.

The video features director Peter Jackson, and stars Elijah Wood (Frodo Baggins) and Sylvester McCoy (Radagast), as well as many air New Zealand employees dressed up as characters from The Lord of the Rings Trilogy and The Hobbit Trilogy. Together, they all help two The Hobbit super fans on their own great journey.

I wonder if this is one of the way Warner Bros. is helping to pay for The Hobbit's fairly large production cost.

The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies opens in theaters December 18.
