Earlier today, Marvel Studios released the final trailer for Avengers: Age of Ultron which hits theaters in a few short weeks. The latest look at the ensemble super hero film featured a bit of footage we haven't seen in previous TV spots and trailers.
The final trailer starts out with footage we've previously seen, the Tony Stark sarcasm the audience loves but Captain America hates (cough - Civil War - cough) and the party at Avengers tower where Ultron introduces himself.
Then, of course, Ultron reminds us how menacing he can be.
But, why would he mess with these guys? They are ready to go. Stark wasn't kidding when he said he made everyone look cooler but he also gave everyone some upgrades!
Seriously, they have Hawkeye and this time around, it looks like he's going to do a bit more work for the good guys. Great to see. "If you step outside that door, you're an Avengers." Scarlet Witch? Quicksilver?
Surely, Thor pitching himself Captain America's shield and hitting a line drive through a dozen Ultron bots has to be the coolest shot we've seen so far, right? Wrong.
The coolest shot has to be the team coming down on some Hydra soldiers as a group. The awesome sequence seems like it will be early in the film as the team goes on a mission following the events of Captain America: The Winter Soldier still feeling themselves from their victory of the the Chitauri in The Avengers. That being said, it was not easy to award top honors to any one scene we've seen so far.
Captain America battles Ultron himself on top of a G-HC Genetics truck, which we've seen part of in previous trailers.
What's new (and awesome) is Black Widow's assist with the shield at just the right moment.
Thanks to this final trailer, we now know that Quicksilver will indeed be fighting alongside the Avengers in what is presumably the final battle of the film. He's the blue blur on the left side.
It looks like Cap returns the assist favor, dishing his shield to Black Widow to fend off an Ultron robot.
"She's with us," Cap jokes to Thor, referring to Black Widow, according to the cut of the trailer.
Good thing...because she is NOT messing around.
Which scene so far is your favorite?
Avengers: Age of Ultron hits theaters May 1, 2015.
