CBS President Hints The Flash & Supergirl Crossover Might Be In The Works

Flash Supergirl

Despite being on different networks, the possibilities of a crossover between CW's The Flash and Supergirl are possible because they are both DC Comics properties.

They seem even more likely now following comments made by CBS president, Glenn Geller when asked if the two super heroes could crossover much like Arrow and Flash do annually.

“I have to be really careful what I say here,” Geller said on the Television Critics Association press tour. "Watch and wait and see what happens,” he concluded.

The answer is quite different in comparison to that of former CBS president, Nina Tassler, who bluntly stated, "Right now we're not doing it."

Supergirl and The Flash share a few executive proders in Greg Berlanti, Sarah Schechter, Andrew Kreisberg and Geoff Johns.

Absolutely! It would be best if they were in the same universe, but even a multiverse crossover would be great!

  1. Perhaps the crossover will be the catalyst for Supergirl actually being good! Though if they cross over, that means I have to keep watching Supergirl after season 1, a huge downside...

Actually, the best solution would be to go back to the classic summer "Crisis" event of the JLA and JSA. Just use all of the characters from the various shows (as appropriate to the story) to do a 2, 3, or 4 night event each summer. "Crisis on Earth-CW", "Crisis on Earth-CBS", etc. Much the way that people expect Marvel to release a big movie the first weekend of May each year, pick a week in the summer to make the "DC Crisis Week".
