Ryan Reynolds Says It Would Be Great For Deadpool To Have A Boyfriend

When Deadpool hits theaters this weekend, audiences will see a lot of things.

One of those things, however, won't be Wade Wilson with another man. While that's a guarantee this weekend, that's not a guarantee forever. "I love that about Deadpool," Reynolds said on the red carpet of Deadpool's New York premiere. "I love that he can break any boundary. In the future, I hope we get to do that more."

Reynolds went on to say he thought it would be "nice" to see Deadpool have a boyfriend at some point, concluding, he "certainly wouldn't be the guy standing in the way of that. That would be great."

Deadpool has never had a boyfriend in the comics but he's never been opposed to the idea. Anything is possible with such a unique character.

Deadpool hits theaters February 12 and a sequel is already in development.
